Spell check

Misspelled words are underlined in red as you write. Right-click one to see suggestions, or to choose:

• Ignore once — leave this one alone.
• Ignore all — leave it alone until you close QuillArk.
• Add to project dictionary — this word belongs to this book. Invented names usually go here.
• Add to global dictionary — this word belongs to all your writing.

The project dictionary is a plain text file inside the project, so you can read and edit it yourself.

Other languages

QuillArk uses Hunspell dictionaries, the same format LibreOffice and Firefox use. Add another language in Settings → Spell check → Import dictionary, choosing the matching .aff and .dic files.

Nothing you type is ever sent anywhere. Spell checking happens entirely on your computer.
