Terms of Use

Last updated 5 September 2026

Prime Edge Systems is published by Brandon Mysliwiec. By installing and using it you accept the terms below. They are short because the application does very little on your behalf.

What you get

A licence to install and use the application, on as many devices as you like, for as long as you like, at no cost. There is no account, no subscription, and no feature withheld pending payment.

What it is not

This is not a medical device and does not give medical advice.

It records what you enter and performs arithmetic on it. It does not diagnose, treat, or monitor any condition. It does not interpret laboratory results — it stores the values and the reference ranges your laboratory printed, and compares one against the other, which is transcription rather than interpretation.

Nothing in it substitutes for a doctor, a dietitian, a physiotherapist or a qualified coach. Decisions about your training, your diet, your medication or your health are yours to make with people qualified to help you make them.

Estimates are estimates

Where the application calculates something it cannot measure — energy expenditure, a one-rep maximum, body fat from tape measurements — it labels the figure as an estimate, names the equation, and states the equation's known limitations. Those figures come from published formulas fitted to groups of people. They are frequently wrong for an individual, sometimes substantially, and are offered as a starting point rather than an answer.

Training carries risk

Resistance training, conditioning and dietary change can cause injury or illness. You are responsible for deciding what is appropriate for you, for training within your capability, and for stopping when something is wrong. If you have a medical condition, are pregnant, are recovering from injury, or are taking medication, speak to a clinician before making changes.

Your data is your responsibility

Everything you record is stored on your own device. There is no server, no account recovery, and no copy held by the developer — which is the point, and also the trade-off.

If you coach other people

The coaching workspace stores information about your clients on your device. You are the data controller for that information. Their consent, their right to see it, and their right to have it deleted are your responsibility, and the application gives you the means to honour all three.

Third-party content

The bundled food database is derived from public data published by the United States Department of Agriculture. The exercise library, its research citations and its artwork are original to this project or used under licences recorded in the project's data-sources documentation. Trademarks belonging to equipment manufacturers, where mentioned, remain theirs.

No warranty

The application is provided as it is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent the law allows, the developer is not liable for any loss arising from its use — including loss of data, injury, or any decision made in reliance on a figure it displayed.

Some jurisdictions do not permit the exclusion of certain warranties or liabilities. Where that is the case, the exclusions above apply only as far as the law allows, and nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Changes

These terms may change when the application does. The date at the top says when they last did. Continuing to use the application after a change means accepting the revised terms; if you do not accept them, uninstall it, and take a backup first if you want to keep your records.
